Doctor Diagnosis

If our clinic signs a contract with your professional group how soon can the services begin?

What is your new patient procedure?

After signing of the contract it takes 2 weeks for analysis of your catchment area patient population demographics, and estimation of how many hours of Psychiatric Services we will start with and subsequently end up with over the course of 1 yr, 2 yr, and long-term. Subsequently, we will schedule a meeting about the logistics of which clinic to start, train your medical assistants, and introduce the Provider that will be most suitable for your patient group.   It can take up to 2-3 months for the start of services from start to finish including credentialing.

Doctor Office

Do you or we bill for your services?

We prefer that your team bills for services of our providers, whom we credential with all pertinent insurances, and with your clinic group as your own providers would in accordance with your bylaws. For many public insurances like Medi-Care and Medi-Cal, it requires reassignment of benefits to your group based on already credentialed providers of ours, like with PAVE, CMS, Managed Medi-Cal, or CalAIM, or CalMHSA.

How long do I sign the contract for and is there binding clauses built in?

Our contracts are 2 years long, and autorenewing, and there is no binding clause, we believe if our services are not satisfactory or your clinic group's operations are not satisfactory, both parties have a right to terminate the contract. California Medical and Nursing Boards however require informing the patients 2-3 months in advance for termination of services so congruent to that termination of services needs that amount of time to ensure continuity of care for patients. In cases of requests for replacements of providers, similar time frames are expected given the credentialing and training required.
