We have been leading the way in telehealth services in California for more than twenty years. Now, we began expanding our reach to other states across the United States of America
We bring specialists to underserved metro and hard-to-reach rural clinics of the United States. Patients can receive behavioral and mental health services through telehealth in clinic settings without having to travel long distances to receive specialty care. Primary care teams and other behavioral health teams have access to psychiatric specialist's remotely at their convenience.
Using Technology to Integrate Psychiatry with Primary Care and Behavioral Health
Why Partner with Us?
When partnering with us, clinics gain access to our extensive experience and expertise. We supply and install the necessary equipment for free and provide a secure encrypted HIPAA-compliant connection. We provide ongoing support which includes clinical oversight, telehealth training for office staff, and efforts to enhance communication, seamlessly integrating into your team. Together, we facilitate coordinated patient care, delivering top-tier telepsychiatry and teletherapy services in collaboration with primary care clinicians and behavioral health departments, ensuring the highest quality evidence-based care.
Quality Control and Performance Tracking
We conduct comprehensive data analysis, leveraging various metrics including peer reviews, patient and clinic staff surveys, and no-show/canceled appointment data. This enables us to meticulously monitor service quality, enhance productivity, and ensure optimal clinical efficiency. Our commitment to continuous improvement is rooted in the insights derived from these key performance indicators, fostering a culture of excellence in the delivery of our services.
Why Telehealth?
The Telemedicine Development Act of 1996 facilitated the integration of technology into medical treatment by removing economic and legal obstacles. Telehealth, considered a supplementary tool in medical practice, addresses accessibility challenges for individuals in rural areas due to shortages of specialized health providers and long travel distances to mental health services. By providing teletherapy directly to clinics and integrating it into traditional medical systems, our approach aligns with studies emphasizing its effectiveness in psychiatric evaluations, interventions, diagnoses, medication management, and psychotherapy, ensuring seamless team-based coordination of patient care.
What Are Clinics Saying?
"In addition to our clinical team, as assigned to us, PMPI provides us with the whole clinical support staff through their corporate headquarters in Bakersfield, California, that assist the providers with prior authorizations, disability paperwork, etc., for our clients. They also ensure that we meet or exceed the community standards of practice of psychiatric medication management services for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQs) and have internal processes for Quality Assurance monitoring of their panel".
